The architecture

An event runs on the mechanics Velvet Access is built on. Verification before entry, escrow before seating, refund by default.
Verified guest list
Every member — host and guest — is ID-verified before transacting. No exceptions for events.
Held payment
Your money is held in escrow. It does not reach the host when you commit.
Confirmed seating
Funds release only once you are seated at the event. Confirmation happens in the room.
Automatic refund
If the event does not happen, the refund is automatic. No claims process, no waiting on the host.
- Pricing
- Per seat, posted upfront, identical for every guest. Price never depends on who is buying.
- Hosts
- Event hosts carry the same visible reliability score, built from delivered tables.
- Age
- 21 and over, verified against ID during sign-up. The age gate applies to every room, every night.
- Women-only rooms
- Optional verified-women-only tables extend to events. The filter is a setting, not a request.

There is no public guest list.
Primary Velvet Access membership opens first. Event invitations are separate and are never guaranteed by joining the main waitlist.
